Indio is a part of the Greater Palm Springs Area and is 23 miles from Palm Springs.  Indio is known as the ‘City of Festivals’. It was rightly given this name due to the abundance of festivals that occur in the area all year round, including the Coachella Valley Festival of Music and Arts, StageCoach, The Date Festival and many more.  Surrounded by high mountain ranges on its three sides provide the year-round warm weather.  Year after year there are around 350 days of sunshine.
